This tour focuses on a group of works from the Permanent Collection that refer to Carnival. Specialists from the Museum will introduce visitors to different aspects of Carnival, its iconography, its origins in the 19th century in the case of Malaga and its evolution up to the present day.
Paintings by Raimundo de Madrazo, García Ramos and Lucas Villamil among other artists will be discussed during these guided tours, which aim to introduce Carnival from the viewpoint of the Collection of the Museo Carmen Thyssen during this special time of year.
