Educa-Lab

EducaLab is a space open to cultural reflection on education inside and beyond cultural institutions. It also encourages the creation of new educational practices and of research networks.

This activity will involve a joint reflection on educational approaches, methodologies, teachers, students, members of the educational community, history, content, contexts, experiences, and more.

Participants:
Teachers in the official Sate system and non-State system, and individuals interested in education.

Days and times:
17 February, 3 and 17 March 2015, 6pm to 8pm.

wallsANDnetworks

wallsANDnetworks is a permanent activity at the Museo Carmen Thyssen Málaga that offers all visitors the chance to take an active role in the life of the institution.

Through simple actions, the relationship between museum-people-art brings about a multi-channel communication, making the visitor a participant in the cultural act.

Young MCTM

The Young MCTM group began with the experimental radio workshop: in 2013, a group of young people from this workshop decided to collaborate in a continuous manner and from the starting point of their close relationship with the Museum’s departments, developing critical and creative projects aimed at different sectors of the public.

Participants:
Young people aged between 18 and 26.

Days and times:
Alternate Thursdays, 6pm to 8pm
First session: 16 October 2014

Enrolment:
If you are interested in art and culture and would like to become closely familiar with the Museum, please send us an e-mail offering to join this young people’s group.

Application opens on 10 September 2014.

University MCTM

University MCTM offers participants informational talks on themes relating to both the Permanent Collection and the temporary exhibitions, as well as on the Museum itself as a cultural institution.
Different communicatory approaches will be used to introduce issues of interest to participants.

Individuals interested in the Museum and in sharing ideas on cultural, artistic and aesthetic concepts.
